Step 1: Download the Tap2Tip App
Install the Tap2Tip™ APP from the Apple Store or Play Store. The app is part of the SCOOD™ ecosystem, making it easy to access.
Step 2: Register Your Account
- Launch the APP and choose the option to create a new account.
- Enter your required personal details: Name, Surname, Email, and Cell Phone Number. Then, add your card details for payments.
Step 3: Pre-Load Funds
Load prepaid funds onto your account in R100 increments, which will be saved as vouchers in the app. This fund will be used for tipping.
Step 4: Tip a service provider
To tip, simply tap your phone on a service provider’s Tap2Tip™ card or scan their QR code. This action can prompt you to download the APP if you haven’t done so already or take you directly to the tipping screen if you’re already a user.
Step 5: Select your Tip Amount
After scanning or tapping the card, choose the amount you wish to tip. You can select preset increments or enter a custom amount. The minimum tip is R5
Step 6: Confirm and sent your Tip
Review your tip amount and confirm the transaction. The tip amount will be deducted from your voucher balance, and the service provider receives the tip directly into their Tip Wallet.
